The seven tools:
Service: to others in the Big Book step study process or to your step one fellowships or others in your 12 step groups
Telephone:calls to others in the Big Book step study and your step one fellowships
Reading: the Big Book daily, and reading other 12 step literature and spiritual literature daily
Writing: out the Big Book step study questions, word definitions, gratitude list, Dear God/HP letter
Sponsor: having a sponsor in your step one fellowships and sponsoring in your step fellowships (this is VERY important)
Anonymity: not using anyone’s name in conversations concerning being in 12 step fellowships, not gossiping about anyone or repeating what they said with their name attached, not letting t.v., radion, or news attach your name with being in a certain 12 step fellowship
Meetings: going to as many meetings as your life can support without compromising your relationship with God/HP and your family. Contributing at the meetings with positive pitches on how God/HP and the steps have given you the ability to keep your addictive substance down and how you’re willing to help anyone do the same
