Step 10
Words:
Perverse
Writing:
Stop everyday at 4pm. Do a 10th step inventory whether you need to or not.
Ask yourself:
Have you been resentful today?
Have you been selfish today?
Have you been dishonest today?
Have you been fearful today?
Did you need to discuss anything with someone today?
Is there anything you could have done better today?
Were you kind today?
Were you loving today?
Was it about your self?
Was it about others?
Was it about fitting into the stream of life?

Step 10
Words:
develop
tirade
Writing:
1. Write on two recent self-seeking situations, one when you used these disciplines, and another when you did not. For each situation, write out what happened, and how it ended.
Disciplines:
PRACTICE SELF-RESTRAINT: Stop/pause. Step back.
ASK GOD FOR HELP.
DO INVENTORY:
- Do an honest analysis of selfishness, resentment, dishonesty, and fear.
- Be willing to admit when the fault is yours.
- Be willing to forgive when the fault is elsewhere.
2. Write out what this means to you: “looking for progress and not perfection”.
Do you want to be perfect? Why do you want to be perfect? Can you achieve perfection? Why can you achieve perfection? Are you willing to accept that you cannot achieve perfection?
Write about progress. Have you seen progress? What does progress mean to you? Can you accept progress?
3. What are these self-seeking behaviors: failed to be fair-minded, unkind tirade, willful self-judgment, power driven argument, silent scorn? Have I done any of these recently?
